I'm Bettina Brown, the heart and soul behind FitAfterBreastCancer.com, and the voice behind In the Rising Podcast.
As a physical therapist, I've had the honor of participating in many personal journeys. From minor orthopedic problems to life-altering medical diagnoses, I've witnessed the awe-inspiring resilience of the human spirit. I've seen how people can transform their experiences into catalysts for intentional, empowering life changes.
Every interaction with my tenacious clients has been a transformative experience for me, both personally and professionally.
As the host of In the Rising Podcast, I aim to inspire individuals to triumph over adversity, using it as fuel for personal growth. Over the past four years, I've produced over 200 episodes featuring enlightening discussions with respected mentors, financial gurus, and medical professionals. This platform has also proudly led me to become a Top Mentor on the Wisdom app, a game-changing platform that enhances the connection between creators, podcasters, and listeners. This became NoomVibe in 2024.
After having the chance to interview Dr. Aviva Romm, I found a new interest in the importance of a holistic health view. I completed her Women's Integrative and Functional Medicine Certification Program. I do believe so many components of health, nutrition and emotional well-being is important for those going through their own cancer journey and recovery.
One of the most profound aspects of my journey has been the privilege to connect with countless brave women who have overcome breast cancer. These remarkable women have transformed their experiences into a source of inspiration, becoming authors, motivational speakers, and even life coaches. Their stories have taught me that healing from breast cancer extends far beyond the physical realm.
My time with my clients has ignited my passion to share knowledge and establish deep, meaningful connections. This led me to earn my certification as a Christian Life Coach through the Center for Christian Coaching.
In my quest for knowledge, I've delved into the importance of core values and aspirations. I've undergone energy healing Reiki training and learned the art of relaxation and healing. This introspective journey inspired me to pen my book, “Be the Testament: A Journey of Self-Love and Discovery,” which I chose to self-publish. Writing this book gave me new perspectives and a renewed appreciation for my spirituality and belief system, as well as that of my clients.
Every moment spent as a physical therapist or a podcast host with individuals navigating breast cancer fills me with deep gratitude. I am honored to share my expertise and experiences as I guide and support others on their unique journeys.
