Philippa Gregory is an author of several historical fiction books, including The Other Boleyn Girl. This book was converted into a movie by the same name starring Natalie Portman and Scarlett Johannson. Philippa graduated from the University of Sussex and received a PhD from the University of Edinburgh. Her books describe the stories of well known and less known women of history.
We had the opportunity to discuss the value of writing, the importance of learning more about women in history and about our own history.
