What is the meaning and relevance of these words when starting a business, writing a book, or waking up at 5 am to exercise? In today's 'In the Rising Podcast,' I explore this. Having an enthusiasm to accomplish a task or to experience a particular emotion is what is known as inspiration.

Action can be an outward expression of an internal force. Discussing the course someone is taking to obtain an advanced degree leads one to contemplate their own potential.

Motivation is the ability to influence someone else to take action through your words or actions. An external force is present. I was having a conversation with someone about the course they were taking, and they told me that I could do the same.

Because they know you can do it, they provide a course outline and ask you to join them. Discipline involves behaving in an organized and prescribed manner.

This has more to do with the action of internal or external forces acting on someone. Having heard about the extra course, you have decided to take it. After making all the necessary phone calls, examining your budget, and arranging new time in your schedule, you complete the course 6 months later.
